Profiline Ex Cut 05-05 is a coarse abrasive paste for orbital polisher processing and sanding down scratched or locally sanded paint layers. Removes sanding marks up to P1500 or finer and also removes paint defects, deep scratches, dust inclusions, severely scratched or oxidized paint work and corrosion due to bird droppings, insects, and tree sap without damaging the clear coat. Certainly, this is one of the most flexible compound / polishes available in the market that works beautifully on all clear coats and paint finishes. The single step process makes paint corrections far less labor intensive and time consuming than traditional claying and compounding. Water based formula will not dry out like other compounds, contains no solvents, silicones or petroleum and creates no dust during the compounding process so polishing pads stay cleaner longer. Recommend applying with a rotary polisher and a Sonax red polisher or hybrid wool pad.

Directions for Use:

• Wash and dry vehicle.
• Clay the vehicle to remove above-surface contaminants.
• Equip your dual action or rotary polisher with the appropriate foam or wool pad.
• After that, apply 2-3 dime-sized drops of SONAX ExCut 05-05 on the outer edge of the pad.
• Set your polisher to a low speed to start (800 rpm) for approximately 20-30 seconds, applying 15-20 pounds of pressure. After 30 seconds, remove pressure completely using only machine weight, increase machine speed (1200 RPM) and continue polishing for 45-60 seconds. Starting off slow and working your way up is best practice to ensuring you do not overdo it.
• Working on a section no larger than 12 x 12 inches, polish the area using firm downward pressure and a slow arm movement. Polish the area until the compound turns clear. Turn polisher off and remove residue.
• Repeat steps over the entire vehicle.
• When finished polishing, wipe down the paint surface with one of Microfiber Cloths.

Notes:

• Do not allow polishing area to overheat.
• Regularly clean polishing sponges.
• Never use different polishes on one sponge.
• Keep from freezing.
